Dear Parents:

Kinderhouse is the realization of a dream to provide quality preschool programming to young children.  What began as
a mere research into learning that provides for a solid foundation for future academic success turned into a full vision of
implementing a program that combines the best of the educational philosophies. In 2008, I launched the Kinderhouse program in my home (hence the name) and within months, our waiting list was so extensive that I decided to launch our program to the broader community of Calgary SW. Today, together with our fabulous staff and support team, it continues to be our privilege to serve our families of Calgary SW through preschool education.

My educational experience spans over a decade of serving and leading children in various ways: integrated arts instruction, primary elementary teaching (K-3), music and piano instruction and preschool education in both private as well as public school settings. My biggest passion is to integrate the three pillars of a quality educational program: academics, artistry and purposeful play. As a lifelong learner, I am currently pursuing post-graduate courses in child development and leadership as well as continuing to be involved as a member of various organizations committed to the well-being and care of young children. My passion for the arts extends to involvement as a member of the board of Corps Bara Dance Theatre, a Calgary-based dance company offering fusion of contemporary dance and dance theatre performances for all ages, that seek to touch the heart and stir the spirit. In addition, I enjoy playing the keyboard in our church band and performing at local venues and events.
