Welcome to Kinderhouse!

Kinderhouse is a unique early childhood program providing a high quality education for children between the ages of 3-5. Our program combines the best of Reggio (emergent curriculum), Montessori, Gardner and Arts-based educational philosophies to provide your child with a comprehensive and integrative approach to preschool and kindergarten education.

• Kinderhouse is hosted at Valleyview Presbyterian Church providing  a beautiful and bright facility for our program and spacious and lovely nature grounds for our outdoor play and nature explorations.
• Kinderhouse provides a lovely and warm classroom environment with quality educational and Montessori materials.
• Kinderhouse’s academic program provides:Language Arts, Math, Science, Geography, Outdoor Play, Gross & Fine Motor Practice, Character Formation, Visual Arts, Music, and Drama all set within an artistic and comprehensive early childhood education program.
• Kinderhouse offers a professional and licensed music program through the Musikgarten program.
• Kinderhouse emphasizes creativity, quality educational programming and materials, learning within community and quality care.
• Kinderhouse offers a teacher-student ratio of 1:9 and as such your child will receive the individual attention he/she deserves at this young age.
• Kinderhouse is taught by highly-qualified and caring instructors. Each of our staff have their level 2 or 3 in early childhood certification, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Education or its equivalent,and have several years of teaching experience in the classroom both in the primary setting as well as in preschool. Some of our staff members also have their Montessori credentials.
• Our Kinderhouse teachers and parent volunteers submit to a police reference check yearly to ensure your child’s safety.
